The name River’s Way honors a few different lineages. Namely,
My practice draws from Process- Oriented Psychology. Process-Oriented Psychology is an awareness practice, philosophy and methodology that facilitates what may be trying to emerge in an individual or group. “River’s Way”, is the title of one of the books published by process work originator Arnold Mindell.
My practice flows at your pace, witnessing and supporting your unique journey. The metaphor of moving with the flow of the river rather than swimming against it is central to the River’s Way philosophy and practices.
River as a teacher, inspires a deeper understanding of the ecologies that occur in natural and human worlds.
“River” was the special dog of the family who helped Jessica relocate to Canada.
