Mission & Vision

Relationship

When our inner or outer relationships are compromised, our health and well-being is affected. Relationship is core to the work we will do together. Problems exist less within people, and rather in the relational spaces between them. We are often taught to see things in individual units when what we ought to see is a web of relationship. Therapy from a relational perspective is more about enhancing or enabling a conversation than about fixing a problem.

Resonance

Stress isn’t just in your head, its in your body too. When we learn to let go, and gently flow with the river, we can then create the space to be able to feel and process more. Flow states reminds us of what is possible, and how to connect with our inner ‘compass’ and wisdom. Resonance can occur when our mind and body is relaxed, while also focused and alert.  Through awareness practices, we can learn to work with our body to optimize our physiology and wellbeing.

Reality

Reality does not promise fairness, nor does it promise feel-good comfort, but it does provide us the ability to see clearly and to have the choice to pursue the things that matter to us. Sometimes we filter reality through certain ‘lenses’ which can be limiting. We may resist or run from reality or bend reality to gain immediate reward. Updating and refining our ways of seeing and interpreting situations can be a painful but rewarding process. Reality keeps us safe!

“The river carries that which the mountains cannot hold.”
